Driving in Italy

There are many interesting driving rules in Italy. First, they use left hand drive vehicles, including lhd 4×4’s. And they drive on the left side of the road. Now picture this: they can pass on the right with many roads having three lanes, the center for passing. Use of the horn is prohibited in built-up areas. Here you are to use your lights to flash if the occasion arises needing someone’s attention. But on the expressways, you are to use your horn as a signal to pass. Parking is usually on the right side of the road. I wonder how they determine which is the right side, since it would depend which direction you are going as to which is the right side. Anyway, it would take a lot of getting used to!
