When do we find out that we are not expected to know everything? I am a lot older than I would have hoped to be before I found out that I didn’t need to know everything. Before this time, I felt I needed to because my ex-husband didn’t either know anything or just made poor decisions, so I needed to manage everything. Now my new husband takes care of many decisions, but collaborates with me, and I have discovered it is OK to say I don’t know – and try to find out.
