IR35 gets blasted by the Institute of Directors

The piece of legislation known as IR35 has been blasted by the Institute of Directors. They have said that it has become a problem itself and have told the Office of Tax Simplification that something must be done sooner rather than later to replace a piece of legislation that simply does not work. The Office of Tax Simplification was set up to look at the country’s tax system and come up with new ways to help make everything a little more clear cut. At present the UK tax system is so overbearing and complicated that HMRC don’t even understand it all themselves.
