Kids learning how to respect money
Most parents want to teach their kids the value of the dollar. How much you have to work to earn money and then what to do with it once the money is made. This is done usually by assigning the kids to do certain chores and then giving them an allowance. The kids usually want to run to the local dollar store or convenient store to buy candy and assorted junk. But have you thought about teaching your kids to be entrepreneurs by earning money creatively? Or how to save and think of giving some away? Part of the Enlightened Wealth Institute is to teach these things to kids. They are interested in teaching kids to be enlightened and wealthy. They have downloads for kids on making/spending money and on charity/ saving and investing for kids. Really a great resource.
