My daughter just earned her medical transcription certificate online. I am so proud of her. She was in a car accident during her senior year of high school. She was in the hospital for quite some time. Then, she was in a rehabilitation center for a while. She attended summer school to make up the work that she had missed during the regular school year, and she was able to graduate the same year she was supposed to. However, it was too late for her to apply to colleges and universities. She thought she would have to wait a year to go to medical transcription school, but she found an online program that allowed her to work at her own pace. She actually graduated from the program earlier than she would have if she had gone to a traditional college.
