Optimizing your site for search engines using the right combination of keywords is crucial. If you target the wrong keywords, then you most likely won’t be able to increase online traffic.
I advise using a keyword tool to research and find keywords related to your site. Also, be sure to include 2 - 3 keywords in the HTML page title for every page on your site. You can use one keyword per page if you like, but this limits your results a bit.
Whatever you do, don’t saturate your text with too many keywords. Just as not enough keywords are bad, too much can hurt you too. It’s best to use an online keyword density tool and aim to have 8% - 15% keyword density.
