There Was Nothing I Could Do
A couple of months ago, I was meeting with a friend of mine who worked at the bank. I was telling her that we needed some help landing some low interest student loans for my son that was just about to go to college. She told me that there was not anything that she could really do if I was not approved for the loans. I pleaded with her, but she stayed firm. I assumed that it was because I was behind on my own loan payments. My wife was very upset, but there was not anything that I could do about it.
