11/03 apisto-acrensis
This fish has a deep-bodied with brownish base color and white belly. Grey to black area may form below the lateral line depending on the mood. The lateral line begins with narrowly behind the eye and widens fast, it ends before it reaches the caudal spot. A clear separation between the caudal spot and the lateral line can be seen. On a blue background the cheeks and face of apisto acrensis may have light to cherry red spots. The anal fins, caudal and dorsal vary from colorless to violet or blue. In mature males the caudal fin is round and has light vertical bands.
