Going thru drug detox
My friend of 20 years has just gone thru and survived drug detox. He had decided that it was time and that he had enough of felling so dependent on the drugs. The detox was less then fun, he said, but he also said they make it bare-able with monitored drugs to help you come off slowly. The doctors said if he were to quit “cold turkey” it could have ended his life. After a few days he was feeling better and was ready to deal with his addiction and get clean and sober. He is commited to helping himself survive.
