Management Position
After working 6 years in physical rehabilitation on the evening shift, I decided to take advantage of my supervisor experience and take a look at rn jobs offering a management position in rehab. I was fortunate that the hiring Director of Nursing provided me with a great deal of support in the way of educational opportunities and an Assistant Director of Nursing who was an awesome role model and mentor. After 3 years, I was offered a management position in a facility much closer to my home, with an awesome opportunity to help start a rehab department. I loved working in collaboration with other departments and making decisions on the look and design of the unit.
