Oak Dining Furniture: A Timeless Classic
When we moved into our home nearly thirteen years ago, little did my wife and I know what a literal gold mine rested right below our feet. When the house was built in the late 1950s, the standard flooring material of the day was hardwood. And in the majority of applications, red oak hardwood. But for over 10 years, we had no idea the oak was there; until we decided to pull up the old carpet in one room. What we found underneath was a floor untouched by wear for many years. It’s beautiful. And what’s even better is that it matches our Oak dining furniture almost perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.
