The Art of Doing Nothing
Cats and kittens are often very docile creatures. They like curling up in the sun, or sitting on a windowsill, swishing back and forth their tails. Sometimes it’s nice to go along with this simple approach to life, and, instead of constantly trying to gain their attention, hold and cuddle up with them. For larger cats this can mean simply placing them on your lap and doing nothing, or, with smaller cats, getting some soft kitten toys for them to curl up on as you hold them. This quiet act of nothingness can go a long way to making both you and your cat quite content.
