Used Folding Camping Trailers
Buying a used folding camping trailer versus a new one is a great way to get more mileage out of your money. Much like a new auto, a new camper loses some of its value the minute it is taken off the lot by the new owner. For some people, it is worth it because they get to have something new and have the exact configuration, color scheme, and amenities they want. For other people, a used camper is good condition purchased at a good price is much more valuable and gives them a lot more satisfaction than having the exact color or amenities they would like.
I’m one of the people in the latter category. I spend as little time as possible inside my folding camping trailer so the color scheme doesn’t matter much to me and neither does the little bit of wear and tear that was noticeable when I purchased mine used several years ago. I figured if I had purchased a new one I would spend too much time worrying about who was going to put the first scuff mark on the floor and first scratch on the countertop instead of enjoying the camping experience with my family. Since my used folding trailer already came with those “broken in” scratches and scuff marks, I didn’t worry about the couple of extra ones my family has added to it over the years. Instead, I enjoy my time camping and really enjoy the fact that the reasonable cost of my used folding trailer allowed me to pay cash for it and not have any debt. That was the best thing of all.
