Currency Exchange Rates Can Be Confusing
The first time I traveled abroad I thought I would just take my credit card and use it rather than worry about exchange rates or travelers checks. What I did not realize is that there are often significant fees that are incurred by your bank when you do use your card in different currencies. I never need to carry a lot of money so I do not have to worry about the problems associated with currency exchange rates on large sums of money. For convenience now I order my money in advance and have it delivered to me at home so I can just carry it with me.
