Doing Your Part
My mom taught me from the time I was little that we all have to do our part to save the environment. She did it by recycling (before trucks came to pick up your plastics), by buying items used instead of new, and by repairing instead of replacing as often as possible. Recently she told me about Earth for Energy, which is a manual that shows exactly how to create your own energy from wind and solar power. Even though I’ve grown up and moved away, Mom keeps teaching me about the things we can do to save the environment.
