Fireplace
We just moved in to a fantastic old victorian home with a wood burning fireplace. All of our other homes have had gas log fireplaces and there has been mantel for decoration. I love this home and the selling point for me was the fireplace. I am now in the market for antique clocks and specifically a mantel clock for over the fireplace. Of course if I do put a clock there I need to make sure that it will withstand the heat from the fireplace. I am sure that there are plenty of clocks that can be put there but I am interested in a clock that fits in with the victorian architect of the house.
