Monogram and Personalization
I grew up in the sixties. It seemed like everything was monogrammed with the initials of its owner. When I went to my friends house and used their bathroom, I envied the monogrammed towels hanging from the towel bar. We all had twin sweaters sets in bright colors (really ugly colors as I think back on it) with our initials monogrammed on the front center of the sweater. It doesn’t surprise me that engaged couples want to have personalized wedding rings. There is something about wearing your name or initials that makes you feel special. I like this modern day trend. At least it does not involve colors that you may someday think are ugly.
