Revolution in Central China (1910 A.D) – World History TimelineOn October 10th 1910 the revolution was broken out against the Manchu government. The Xinhai Revolution or Shinhai Revolution is also known as the 1911 Revolution or the Chinese Revolution, The Revolution began with the Wuchang Uprising on October 10, 1911 and ended with the abdication of Emperor Puyi on February 12, 1912. The government was in such disarray and central power was so limited, that it did not take long for it to collapse entirely. By the end of the year, Dr. Sun Yat-sen had been elected President of China by the Revolutionary Provisional Assembly in Yanking.
