There are three kinds of Diabetes Mellitus (DM): First, the juvenile diabetes or Insulin dependent type I that occurs before 35 years old; Second, diabetes that strikes 40 years old and above or Non-insulin dependent type II; and the third is gestational diabetes or the diabetes during pregnancy. Every type of diabetes has separate medical intervention.

Even though the disease is non-curative, it can be controlled. This publication put emphasis on the managing, controlling, dealing and living with diabetes.
