Is this related to price fixing?
When the oil companies conspire to insure that all gasoline sells at the same price, our government steps in and investigates them for price fixing. Doing that is completely illegal. Why is it then that when one of the largest long distance carriers and a not so large computer manufacture conspire to make everyone use the long distance carrier that the government does not investigate that? I am not the only person that wants to unlock iPhone sim card technology and have a choice in my carrier. And if any of us try to do it, Apple has said that we are in violation of our users agreement.
