Vacations Fun When Someone Else Makes The Arrangements
I am biased when it comes to travel planning. As far as I’m concerned, vacations are for having fun. Anything that smacks of work is not for me, and that includes making travel arrangements. As a result, I choose my vacation destination, then let a favorite travel agent deal with tickets, hotels, and rental cars. The other reason I let them do the “heavy lifting” is that they are experts so I know I will get exactly the hotel rooms I expect, accurate schedules, and travel packages, which save me money. I can’t imagine why anyone would plan their own vacation when these experts are available. But that’s just me.
